Violet’s leadership, advocacy, and unwavering commitment to resident governance have helped shape Benson East into the strong, community-centered housing model it is today.

Her work has supported tenant voice, protected affordability, and strengthened the foundation for long-term stability for residents. The impact of her service will continue to be felt for years to come — and we are deeply grateful for the time, care, and leadership she has given to this community.
